A Himalayan dawn

Every day at Spacehouse is designed to nourish your body, mind and senses. Wake up to birdsong, and catch the first rays of sun on your verandah. Those first rays of sun falling on Trishul peak can feel profound, even magical.

A nourishing start to the day

Post this morning's skyscape, make yourself a cup of your favorite brew in the fully-equipped Spacehouse kitchen. Breakfast is served between 8 - 10 am and consists of delicious local produce - freshly baked breads, cheese, eggs, conserve, seasonal fruits and oatmeal. Enjoy it at the chef’s table in the kitchen, out in the garden or on one of the covered verandahs.

Tune into nature

After breakfast, relax out in the garden or cocoon yourself in your favourite Spacehouse chair, as you plan the day ahead with the team. Choose to walk or picnic in the nearby forests. Discover natural dyeing techniques from native plants, or try your hand at traditional rope-making. Learn local Pahari cooking, gather seasonal fruits and transform them into jam, or take a guided foraging trip for wild native foods. Or let the surrounding tranquillity inspire you to take the time to meditate, practice yoga and tend to your inner space. Lunch is a light affair and can be taken to go or on the verandah or as a forest picnic.

Discover your inner creativity

Afternoons are for diving into Spacehouse’s collection of the world’s best art and design books and tuning into your inner realm of creativity. If you want time to be with yourself, you can go venturing and forest-bathing on your own along one of the many wild but safe paths in the village. Or use the studio space to work on a personal project.

Marvel at the stars

Evenings are for stargazing and bonfires, with supper served between 7-9 pm. You can put your favorite playlist on, indulge in deep conversations, or simply marvel at the constellation of stars out of the Spacehouse skyspace. And of course, the best way to end a day at Spacehouse is with a moonlit midnight walk, before curling into your natural linen bed.

Spacehouse is designed to be enjoyed without a car

Between the house itself, the one acre of forest land it sits on and the nearby forests and villages, everything, everywhere, and everyone you might need is accessible on foot.
